LEADERSHIP UNDER PRESSURE
MANAGERIAL INTERVISION (DEC. 1, 9:30 A.M. | THE HAGUE)As pressure increases, leadership becomes more apparent
Workload, capacity shortages, shifting priorities, organizational developments, and a constantly evolving agenda that demands attention. This is a familiar situation for many managers at the Central Government Real Estate Agency.
The strategic direction and other changes within the organization bring about change, but at the same time can cause additional pressure and uncertainty. While you guide your employees through this process, you’re also expected to maintain an overview, make decisions, and ensure that day-to-day operations continue.
How do you avoid being overwhelmed by whatever comes your way? Where do you have the most influence? How do you continue to set priorities and set boundaries? And how do you ensure that you maintain enough rest, energy, and resilience to continue leading effectively?

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
This live session will focus on your own leadership practice.
We draw on a number of substantive insights and methodologies related to workload, focus, influence, energy, and personal leadership. We use these primarily as a starting point to explore together what happens in practice.
Peer review with fellow managers is therefore an important part of this process. Using relatable situations as a starting point, we share experiences and perspectives:
- How do you deal with high workloads and expectations?
- What do you do when everything seems important?
- What do you take responsibility for, and what do you choose not to?
- How do you stay calm and clear-headed when your surroundings aren’t?
- How do you handle situations over which you have little direct control?
Not to tell each other how to do things, but to learn from each other’s experiences and look at your own situation from different perspectives.

WHAT DOES IT GET YOU?
You’ll go home with a better understanding of your own patterns under pressure and a clearer picture of what you can actually influence.
By connecting these insights to the experiences of other leaders, you’ll gain new perspectives and practical tools for your daily work.
The goal isn’t to add even more to your repertoire, but rather to make more conscious choices: what truly demands my attention, what can I let go of, and how do I stay energized and effective in my role?
